Seseme Seed, Honey and Lime Dressing

Sweet, sour and simple. The perfect dressing for salads or dipping.

Ingredients

  • 60-80g olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 2 teaspoon organic sesame seeds 

  • 1-2 teaspoon of soya sauce 

  • 1 lime ( 2 if really small )

  • 20g of peeled fresh ginger

  • 1 garlic clove

  • A pinch of chilli flakes 

  • 2 single spring onions to garnish 

Method

Place all ingredients in a small pan apart from the spring onion.

Peel the ginger and finely slice, thinly slice 6 slices of garlic, slice spring onion.

On a low heat, gently heat these ingredients until warm.

Give a little stir so the lime is nicely combined with the oil and other flavours.

Set a side until ready to use.

Add the spring onion when warm.

Pour in a small bowl and serve with a dish of choice.

Tip

This dressing keeps well. Decanter in to a glass jar or oil pourer and keep in the fridge.
